Sohalia Mosaddegh is a doctor of physical therapy (DPT) and CEO of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. Dr. Mosaddegh earned a bachelor of science in physical therapy from Howard University. She received her doctoral degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Her research focus was on the effectiveness of physical therapy diagnoses of lumbar disease versus MRI. Dr. Mosaddegh has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine field for more than 20 years.
Dr. Mosaddegh and her practices offer patients the most advanced physical therapy for optimizing movement, function, and health. She is guided by integrity, life-long learning, and a commitment to her patients’ health. Dr. Mosaddegh is dedicated to using evidence-based physical therapy throughout the continuum of care to improve quality of life.
Dr. Mosaddegh says: “I have the privilege to work with everyone from middle school and high school athletes, professional tennis players, and weekend athletes, as well as older adults and injured workers. I chose the physical therapy field because it combines the human body with exercise and movement.”
Sarah Remaneses is a committed physical therapist practicing at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in Glen Burnie, MD. Sarah provides a wide variety of physical therapy treatments and services specializing in Orthopedics, Vestibular and Sports related injuries.
She graduated from the University of the City of Manila in the Philippines with bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. In 2016, she completed her transitional in Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with University of Montana. She is interested in furthering her education and skills to ensure that she can give the best possible treatments available to her patients.
She is adept in treating joint replacements and other post-surgical conditions from pediatrics to geriatric population. She is certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). She combines hands-on manual therapy techniques and functional exercises to treat her patients.
When Sarah is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young daughters and she actively participates in their church activities.
Sarah Remaneses is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to building long term relationship to provide education and address everyone’s overall optimal health.
